- They are currently seeking mental health patients and those caring for someone living with a mental health condition nationwide to participate in a new study to understand the experiences of people living with mental health conditions.
- This study is conducted on behalf of a pharmaceutical company.
- This will be a 1-week closed and anonymized online community with other people living with or caring for those with mental health conditions.
— The daily time commitment is approximately 15 minutes per day.
— You would be required to log on 3 to 5 times over a week to complete a variety of different activities.
— Some of the activities would be ‘personal’ (i.e. only you and members of the research firm and the sponsoring pharmaceutical company can see your responses, not the other members of the community).
— Some would be ‘public’ (i.e. other individuals who have loved ones living with mental health conditions who are members of the closed online community, the research firm, and the sponsoring pharmaceutical company can see your responses).
— In some of the activities you may be asked to upload media to your posts, such as videos and images in ‘private’ journal forums (i.e. other members of the community will not be able to view them). - Select individuals will be invited to a 60-minute follow-up web-assisted telephone interview with a trained moderator.
- All invited participants will receive up to $250 as a thank you for their time.
