- They are currently seeking adults nationwide ages 22+ to participate in a new study about Cardiovascular Health.
- This study is run by Exponent, a US-based scientific research and development company, on behalf of a consumer technology company.
- The purpose of the study is to collect health and physiological data to help with the development and improvement of health products.
- This will be a multi-phase study.
- Phase 1:
— This will be a 2-2.5 hour virtual screening session.
— The purpose of this session is to understand your current health condition and medical history.
— If you do not qualify after the initial screening session, you will be compensated for your time. - Phase 2:
— Those who pass the screening will participate in a virtual enrollment and training session.
— This phase may be combined with phase 1. - Phase 3:
— This will be an at-home data collection phase that will last for 30-45 days.
— During this period, you will need to wear 2 smartwatches (one on each wrist) for at least 12 hours a day.
— In addition, you will need to complete a set of tasks each morning and evening.
— The duration of these tasks is roughly 20 minutes in total.
— There may also be a 15-minute mid-study online check-in session. - Phase 4:
— This will be a 15-minute virtual exit session conducted at the end of the study.
— This phase might not be mandatory for all participants. - All invited respondents will receive between $100 and $595 depending on how many phases you complete, your compliance with study requirements and the completion of study activities.
